Hiking & Biking
Denver offers no shortage of hiking choices. Of course you can head to the mountains or stay put in the Mile HIgh City when you trek along the Denver regional trail system. Confluence Park and City Park serve up more of a leisurely vibe. The Lowry Park Loop’s wildlife make hiking there a chance to spy animals native to Colorado. If you want the Rockies to greet you along the path, head to the Sanderson Gulch Trail.

For the Sports Fans
Want to catch a Colorado Rockies game? Maybe you’re in town during basketball season and the Nuggets are at home. Seven professional sports teams make Denver home, so odds are no matter the time of year you find yourself in town, you can sit in the stands to cheer your favorite Colorado team on. For the historical side of athletics, check out the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame and National Ballpark Museum.

Golfing
With about 300 days of sunshine, golf can be on your calendar pretty much year-round. Hot spots to tee off at include City Park Golf Course, Wills Case Golf Course, Fox Hollow Golf Course, Wellshire Golf Course, Overland Park Golf, and Course
Arrowhead Golf Club. Whether you can squeeze in nine holes or have carved out time for the full 18, great golf is a short drive away.

Arts & Culture
Something for the animal lover, something for the art lover, and something for the nature lover. Denver’s arts and culture scene embodies the best of human creativity, natural wonder, and outside adventure. Walk around the city and spy the murals and street art installations. Watch lions on the prowl and hear tigers roar at the
Denver Zoo. More than 70,000 works of art live within the walls of the Denver Art Museum, putting creativity on full display. Want a totally immersive experience? Go toConvergence Station, aka Meow Wolf Denver where you explore four “worlds” that push the boundaries of art, nature, and human expression with interactive installations. Budding scientists and nature fans lose themselves in both the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Denver Botanic Gardens.

Walking Through History
Learn about the West with a tour through the History Colorado Center where 15 exhibits tackle multiple aspects of the state’s past. With free tours from Monday to Friday, time spent at the
Colorado State Capitol brings you closer to politics’ inner workings. Ride the rails (or at least learn about railroad history) at the Colorado Railroad Museum where model trains and museum activities capture the imagination. Speaking of imagination, travel back in time to the Wild West when you make a stop at the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave.

Rocky Mountain National Park
Let the stillness of the park’s lakes quiet your mind as you listen to the rustle of the aspens dancing in the wind. Hit one of the park’s summits and push yourself to new heights. See glaciers and waterfalls as you hike the mountain trails. Rocky Mountain National Park has it all, including 8,000 foot elevations in the wetlands to more than 14,000 feet at top of Longs Peak. Late summer features alpine blooms and autumn provides the backdrop for the elk rut. The park is open for year-round splendor.

Dining
Craft breweries to Jame Beard Award winning establishments! Denver has a choice for every budget and taste. Wine bars let you sip well into the night and the many breweries serve up IPAs, stouts, and sours with a laidback mountain vibe. When the weather cooperates, enjoy your meal outside. From BBQ to seafood to Italian, you have your pick of cuisine and mood in Denver.

Nearby Golden
Nestled amidst the iconic Rocky Mountains, Golden’s panoramas inspire awe, but the town is much more than pretty views. From outdoor excursions to a thriving food scene, Golden ticks all the boxes. Adrenaline junkies, tackle the rapids white-water rafting or rock climb the area’s rugged cliffs. Mountain bikers, you’ll never tire of alpine views and challenging terrain. History buffs, Golden didn’t forget about you–step back in time exploring mining towns, visiting museums detailing the Gold Rush era, and taking in the area’s Victorian architecture. Now add on mineral springs to soak away stress, thriving arts and culture, and a food scene that leaves you totally satiated, you’ll see why Golden’s warmth enchants you.

Shopping
Scout out the latest trends at Larimer Square’s hip retail spots. Merge retail therapy with a little architectural appreciation at 16th Street Mall. This I.M Pei-designed destination is one of Denver’s most visited and teams with galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Got vintage on your mind? Source the ideal one-of-a-kind find to commemorate your Denver stay at Antique Row.

Spas
After a day hiking around Denver or exploring the surrounding mountain, it’s time to treat those sore muscles to some relaxation at one of the city’s spas. Both resort and day spas offer the full scale of body treatments aimed at promoting total wellness and relaxation. Book a boutique spa for a smaller-scale day of pampering or check out one of the area’s larger resorts for a total immersive experience.

Red Rocks Amphitheater
You’ve never been to a concert like this. Nestled on a hillside surrounded by red sandstone monoliths, Red Rocks Amphitheater’s natural talent rivals the musicians on stage. Drive the 15 minutes from Denver or take the Red Rocks Shuttle to get there with ease. Not just a concert venue, this site is a park with trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Fun fact: Red Rocks sandstone structures stand taller than Niagra Falls!

For Beer Lovers
Beer culture thrives here, and different local breweries offer tours to see how beer gets from hops to your mug. Of course, one brewery’s name is synonymous with Golden–Coors. The
Coors Brewery Tours takes about an hour and a half and walks guests through the total brewing experience (and you can visit the tasting room, too). Denver’s craft brew scene is one of the world’s best, so you can sip your way around the city.

Eldora Mountain
Although it’s smaller than some other popular resorts, locals refer to Eldora as a “hidden gem.” It offers a wide variety of trails for beginners, intermediate skiers, and advanced skiers and snowboarders. While you’re there, keep an eye out for future superstars, as Eldora’s Jr. Race Program has been known to churn out more than a few champions. Eldora also offers a host of other activities, such as alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding trails, snowshoeing, and tubing.

Echo Mountain Ski Resort
Beginners and intermediate skiers will find lots to love at Echo Mountain. While there’s no village, this location offers affordable ski passes, night skiing, tubing, and a variety of solid runs that cater to newbies and freestylers, alike.

Winter Park Resort
Winter Park was originally constructed by the City of Denver to serve as a–you guessed it–winter park for residents. This family-friendly resort has two mountains that are home to plenty of beginner and intermediate trails. Mary Jane Mountain also offers open alpine bowls, tree skiing, and world-class moguls. The resort and village also offer many dining and shopping options.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area
If you’re looking for late-season skiing, “A-Basin” has you covered. While most of the area closes up shop in April, Arapahoe Basin often extends into June or early July. With nearly half of the trails rated advanced and a quarter rated expert, it’s easy to see why A-Basin is a favorite amongst the serious skiers and snowboarders. Check out Pallavicini if you dare. It’s one of the longest and steepest runs in Colorado.

Granby Ranch
Once you see Granby Ranch’s pristine slopes, diverse terrain, and stunning scenery, you might be surprised to find out that Granby Ranch is actually one of the most affordable skiing and snowboarding locations in Colorado. Its 42 runs cater to all skill levels, making it the perfect destination for winter adventure seekers. The Ski and Ride School offers a wide variety of lesson options, including private and group instruction.

SkyRun includes a property damage protection waiver on each reservation. The damage waiver covers damage to the property up to $1,500 so long as the damage is accidental and reported to SkyRun prior to your departure. It does not cover damage that is willful, the result of negligence, or damaged caused by the misuse of household items. It also doesn’t cover unreported damage. SkyRun doesn’t charge our guests a refundable damage deposit in lieu of the waiver. Unlike a refundable damage deposit, the damage protection waiver is non-refundable.
If during your rental of our property, you damage the real or personal property assigned to that property, SkyRun will cover the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to an amount not to exceed $1,500. Should the cost of the damage exceed $1,500 or does not meet the criteria for a “covered loss”, and the property owner’s insurance policy also does not cover the loss, then you shall be responsible for the full amount of the damage which will be charged to the credit card on file. Coverage is provided to you and all travelling companions that are staying in the home overnight during your stay.
- Your intentional acts or gross negligence.
- Any damage that occurs if you are in violation of the terms and conditions (including but not limited to having more than maximum occupancy or having a party).
- Loss, theft or damage to any personal effects owned by you or brought on the covered stay by you.
